Celebrate Library Lovers Month with acclaimed HarperTeen YA author and lover of libraries Anna Bright, who will run a creative writing workshop for teens! Have something you’ve been working on, but need a little help? Want to write a novel, but aren’t sure where to begin? Come join us from 4-5 PM on the 3rd Floor of Brigadier General Charles E. McGee Library for what you need, including an SSL opportunity and snacks!

Anna Bright is the author of HarperTeen YA novels The Beholder, The Boundless, The Song That Moves the Sun, and most recently in 2024, The Hedgewitch of Foxhall. In a starred review, Kirkus Reviews praised The Hedgewitch of Foxhall: "This comforting and cozy fantastical romance bursting with Welsh mythology [is] an atmospheric jewel box with sympathetic characters readers will root for from the first page."
