Join Science Connections to learn about nature's decomposers. Space is limited, registration required. Ages 6-10.

People try to recycle as much plastic, paper, and glass as we can, but did you know that nature has its own recyclers? Join Science Connections as we learn about different kinds of decomposers in nature including earthworms, roly-polies, snails, and mushrooms. All of these organisms break down plant material to recycle it to dirt! Get ready to be nature explorers as we investigate nature recyclers! This hands-on program will provide children with the opportunity to use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve a result.  Registration required.  Register online or call 240-773-9550 beginning 3 weeks before the event.  For children ages 6 - 10.  Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.
