FIRST is an acronym for “For Inspiration and Recognition of STEM and Technology.” This non-profit organization was founded to “inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.” FIRST achieves and furthers their vision by hosting multiple levels of robotics competitions that range from kindergarten-aged students, all the way to high school-level roboticists.

This interactive STEM program is for middle school and elementary school students.
