This is a free family event appropriate for all ages, especially toddlers, preschoolers, and young children.
Registration is NOT required.
Generously sponsored by Olney Theatre Center.
Shaquille Stewart is an actor, teacher, and executive director for Silver Spring Stage. For the last ten years of his career, Shaquille has been dedicated to storytelling in new and immersive ways, leading to several devised plays where he and a group of actors crafted a show from scratch. His passion for the arts is met only by his desire to create inclusive spaces for people of color, and is proud to continue this work onstage as well as in the classroom. In addition to being a DC Welder, previous credits include Othello(National Players Tour 69/Othello) The Codeswitch(Sisters Freehold/Director) and Something Moving(Ford's Theatre/Various). Theatre heals, Art is necessary.
