Kelli Dominique Hudson, founder of Peridon Insights, talks about her career in health informatics and how to find your place in a rapidly changing industry!

Kelli Dominique Hudson is the Founder of Peridom Insights, a health insurance education company that empowers individuals to make informed decisions about their health care and costs.  As a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, she has a dual passion for amplifying the voices, experiences, rights, and mental health needs of young people.

Her career spans 15 years in the federal and commercial health sectors as a health information management administrator, organizational change consultant, coach, and educator. As a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, her passion is teaching how to recognize, understand, and respond to mental health and substance abuse challenges among young people. She hopes to give inspiration and insight to young people looking to the future and their place in it!

TAB, or Teen Advisory Board, is a group of library teen volunteers that helps the library and the community by implementing, promoting and advocating for youth services in Montgomery County. It is also a way to earn SSL hours, learn valuable skills and have new experiences with like-minded teens, and rack up those important extra curricular activities that the college or university of your choice is looking for!

As usual, we will be providing SSL hours (2 just for attending, 4 if you do something extra, like (but not limited to)  posting to social media or creating a book list on the topic of the meeting. Ask us about ways to get more SSL hours.

Also, Pizza is back!
