Take a relaxed tour of Japan's natural beauty with a traveler who has lived in and visited this country many times, and enjoyed its seasons.
Japanese delight in the changing of the seasons: the earthy scented autumn mushrooms, the purple irises glistening in the rainy season, snow suspenders attached to pine trees. Take a relaxed tour of Japan's natural beauty with a traveler who has lived in and visited this country many times, and enjoyed its seasons. We will explore the exquisite flowers, traditional foods, and fun festivals that showcase Japan's love of nature. The presenter, who worked for over a decade as the lead educator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with a special interest in Japanese art, will also weave that background into this evening's talk.
