Please visit the Rockville Library for an informative discussion by professor Michael S. Petty on the impact and influence of Native Americans on the Lewis and Clark expedition. This program will take place in the 1st floor meeting room.
During the Bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark Expedition (2004-06), Professor Petty of Montgomery College followed Lewis and Clark's route west and east and along the way, interviewed several Native Americans about their take on the Corps of Discovery and how that impacted their way of life.
