Local Author Talk with Mike McCormick

Author Mike McCormick, who was a White House stenographer from 2002 to 2018, will be speaking on his book Fifteen Years a Deplorable: A White House Memoir.

Mike will address his insider view of why our political discourse is so divided and what the White House media is up against in the age of Trump.

As a stenographer for the press office, Mike was a neutral observer in the White House Briefing Room for over 15 years and he will provide insights on the day-to-day challenges and rewards of being a long-term White House employee embedded among the press.

This is a book of real history, by an author who lived it -- on Air Force One, Air Force Two, in the Oval Office, the West Wing, Iraq, China, Russia, and every state in America.

Mike encourages questions from the audience and looks forward to a robust discussion based his personal interactions with President Donald Trump, Vice President Joe Biden, President Barack Obama, and others. 

Mike will have copies of his book available for sale after his talk with a portion of his sales benefiting the Friends of Little Falls Library.
