Monday, October 19
1:00pm - 2:30pm

With Linda Berg-Cross, PhD, Professor of Psychology Emerita, Howard University

Of all Earth's creatures, birds may hold the richest lessons for how humans can live well — mainly because, unlike us, they've never once complained about a delayed flight. They ride out storms, raise families as teams, communicate with astonishing precision, and navigate journeys of thousands of miles without so much as a GPS. Turns out that's not so different from our own struggles to adapt, connect, and keep going.
This talk explores what bird behavior can teach us about finding our strengths, embracing change, bouncing back from setbacks, staying playful and creative, and aging with purpose — all without a single frequent-flyer mile. Come ready to take flight into a more resilient, adaptable, and joyful life. (Molting optional.)
