Book Clubs for Kids Open House

at White Oak Library!

A welcome meeting for kids starting kindergarten - 5th grade who are interested in our book clubs.

Join us for a welcome open house for kids interested in one of our three book clubs:

• Book Crew for kids starting Kindergarten or grade 1 this fall; Book Crew meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, 5:00-5:45 PM.
• Wild Readers for kids starting grades 2 or 3 this fall; Wild Readers meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 5:00-5:45 PM.
• Page Turners for kids starting grades 4 or 5 this fall; Page Turners meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month, 5:00-5:45 PM.

We will explain how the clubs work, and distribute copies of September's books. If you miss the Open House, stop by the checkout desk for your copy.

Book clubs are a great way to share a love of reading while developing evaluation, speaking, and listening skills.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
