Are you a survivor of domestic abuse living in Montgomery County? Visit our weekly walk-in legal clinic for free legal help. In some cases, we may be able to fully or partially represent you, depending on availability.
Meet with attorneys from Volunteer Legal Advocates (formerly DC Volunteer Lawyers Project) for legal advice on: Protection orders, Divorce, Child Custody, and Child support. We have telephonic interpreters available. We operate out of the first-floor large meeting room across from the bathrooms on Wednesdays weekly from 12-4pm (last walk-in at 3:30).

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
