Practice your reading with a trained and certified therapy dog! They are great listeners.
Develop reading skills and self-confidence as you share a book with a friendly dog. They’re great listeners!
Bring your own book or choose one from our collection. Offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Readers will each get approximately 10 minutes of one-on-one reading time. Sponsored by Pets on Wheels.
For grades Kindergarten to 5th. Siblings welcome.
Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
