Poet Kim Malinowski and Michele Wolf will read and talk about her poetry with us, followed by an open mic for participants' poetry.

Kim Malinowski is a lover of words. She is a poet, author, and is training to be an archeologist. She earned her B.A. from West Virginia University and her M.F.A. from American University. She is currently a student at the University of Maryland. She is the author of Home, Phantom Reflection, Clutching Narcissus, Buffy’s House of Mirrors, Reverberations, and her latest Lilith: Weaving Mountains into Canyons. She blends history, science, and pop culture into new poet dynamics. She writes because the alternative is unthinkable. www.kimmalinowskipoet.com

Michele Wolf is a poet, editor, and teacher. She is the author of several acclaimed poetry collections, including Peacocks on the Streets, Immersion, Conversations During Sleep (winner of the Anhinga Prize for Poetry), and The Keeper of Light. Her work has appeared in Poetry, The Hudson Review, The Southern Review, and many other literary journals and anthologies. Among her honors is a Maryland State Arts Council literary arts Independent Artist Award. https://michelewolf.com
