A Poignant Story of Family, Loss, and Coming of Age.
For April's meeting, we will be discussing Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger
A coming-of-age novel set in 1961 Minnesota, narrated by Frank Drum, who looks back on a tragic summer where a series of deaths in his small town force him to confront the complexities of life, faith, and the adult world. The story, which won the 2014 Edgar Award for Best Novel, explores themes of grief, secrets, and finding grace amidst tragedy, blending elements of mystery, historical fiction, and family drama.
Print copies will be available at the circulation desk beginning approximately one month before the discussion. You may also be able to borrow this title in eBook and eAudiobook formats through MCPL's digital services (such as Libby/OverDrive and Hoopla, where available).
