A Special Storytime at 10:30, followed by drop-in self-paced activities about the history and culture of pie-making and -eating and the importance of circles and pi in everyday life! For ages 3-10.
March Fourteenth (3-14) is the one day of the year dedicated to the homonym (look it up!) that can either help you calculate a measurement or fulfill your craving for a fruity round baked sweet!
Join us at the Connie Morella Library for a Special Storytime about circles and pi at 10:30, then drop by anytime between 11:00 am -1:30 pm and try your hand at one or more of the self-paced, individual and team fun learning activities about the geometry of everyday life and the cultural and culinary importance of pies. Age-appropriate activities for kids 3-10 will be available.
Note: no actual food will be served, but there will be recipes!
