Read to a therapy dog in a relaxing and welcoming environment.

This program at Connie Morella Library offers individuals, including those with disabilities, to read to a calm, gentle dog in a low-pressure environment. Reading aloud to a therapy dog can be a beneficial experience for adults and teens promoting relaxation, reducing anxiety, boosting confidence and improving communication skills. Bring your own book or select one from our display.

Please register at the information desk for a 15 minute session, starting one hour before the program begins.
