Staff from the TRiO Educational Opportunity Center of Montgomery College will assist students and parents/guardians to complete the form, which is used to allocate federal student aid.
Students need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form to be eligible for federal student aid such as federal grants, work-study funds, and loans. In addition, Maryland uses FAFSA information to determine eligibility for state and school aid. Some private aid providers may use your FAFSA information to determine whether you qualify for their aid as well. Registration is required. Please check out this link to be prepared for this session. https://studentaid.gov/articles/things-you-need-for-fafsa/
