In celebration of Earth Day, bring a mending project and join us in extending the useful life of garments!

Learn how to fix zippers, patch holes reinforce seams -- and go green while saving some green! This mending lab is a creative, hands-on experience, so please bring a project to work on. Registration is preferable to help presenters know how many of what kind of supplies to bring -- plus seating is limited and these events can fill up! Register using this link:

Learn the benefits of mending textiles as way to help keep our land, air and water clean. Gain basic visible mending techniques that can help extend the life of your garment and save you money. Discover information about additional zero waste initiatives through the department to help reduce, reuse and recycle even more in your single-family home or apartment.

We hope to see you then!
