IRS-certified volunteers from Community Tax Aid will provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals Saturdays, February 7 - April 11, 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. The service is for families with income less than $67,000. The service is by appointment. To request an appointment, call Community Tax Aid at 202-830-1480. Same-day, walk-in appointments may be available. To receive tax preparation assistance, bring all tax-related documents to the appointment, including a valid photo ID and a Social Security Card or ITIN letter for everyone listed on the tax return (unless applying for an ITIN). The program will be held in the second floor meeting room at Rockville Memorial Library.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
