Register for a 30-minute one-on-one appointment and develop a resume focusing on individual qualifications and career goals. Learn what is important to include in a resume, how to tailor a resume to specific job announcements, how to apply for federal Government positions and some general helpful tips.
Professional Bio: Sandy Walter has had more than 20 years experience in Human Resources in several Federal Government agencies including NIH, NASA, and DoD in addition to Human Resources experience in the private sector. She has Supervised teams of HR Specialists, participated in the development of HR policies, trained employees on hiring procedures, and evaluated hundreds of resumes for federal positions. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and completed Master’s Degree courses at the University of Maryland.

Registration opens three weeks prior to the program date. Registration for this program will open on 2/8/26.
NOTE: patrons can only sign up for one 30-minute session each day and must be present for the scheduled appointment time to receive help.
