Staff from the TRiO Educational Opportunity Center of Montgomery College will assist students and parents/guardians to complete the form, which is used to allocate federal student aid (details below).

Students need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form to be eligible for federal student aid such as federal grants, work-study funds, and loans. In addition, Maryland uses FAFSA information to determine eligibility for state and school aid. Some private aid providers may use your FAFSA information to determine whether you qualify for their aid as well. There are two sessions, one at 6pm and one at 7pm in the Computer Lab, second floor of the Wheaton Recreation Center. English and Spanish-speaking staff will be available. Advance Registration on the Library website is REQUIRED. You will then be emailed a link to a required related form to complete, before this session.

Teens may want to check out special resources of interest, linked on this page: https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/library/for-you/teens/home.html

You'll need a current MCPL card account to access these.  Don't have a card right now?  No worries!  Find out how to Get a Library Card.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
