The presenter, Chiquita Clark Sorrels has been interested in her own family history since she was a teenager. She is President of the Montgomery County, MD, Chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society and is the Church Historian for Jerusalem-Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Rockville. This program will take place in the lower level meeting room.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
