Please join us on Sunday, January 4th, 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the 1st floor meeting room. We will celebrate the birthday of Louis Braille, the French teenager who invented the system of dot writing used by blind people all over the world. We will play games, celebrate Louis Braille’s accomplishments, learn how braille is used for particular activities like map reading, and have cake and refreshments. People of all ages are welcome.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
