Creative Art Adventures

Hands-On Art Workshops for Grades 3–8

Learn new artistic skills from experienced high school mentors. Each of our four workshops will have students explore a new medium and subject.

Join us for a fun and creative art workshop series where students will explore drawing, painting, and mixed-media projects while learning new artistic techniques. Each session features a unique, hands-on project, from character design and watercolor landscapes to comics and imaginative illustrations, allowing students to express their creativity and bring their ideas to life. No prior art experience is needed; all skill levels are welcome! All materials provided.

There will be four sessions on Sundays 8/30, 9/13, 9/27, and 10/11. Students are welcome to come to all sessions, or however many they are able to attend.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
