This three session robotics workshop series will allow for an exciting hands-on introduction to robot building, robot programming, and Computer-Aided Design.
In this three-session robotics workshop, we will introduce you to the world of robotics. In session 1 (January 11), we will disassemble and then build a barebone robot. In session 2 (January 25), we will code a robot to move both by using a video game controller and autonomously. In session 3 (February 8), we will work with the computer software Onshape to design objects with real-world use. These workshops are perfect for anyone interested in STEM and require no prior experience. Students are encouraged to come to all 3 sessions but are also welcome to sign up for as many or as few as possible. Class hosted by world-class First Tech Challenge (FTC) team #23975 PigeonBots from Rockville, MD.
