Every third Thursday of the month, 5:00-6:30, join us for a monthly Teen Advisory Board meeting and earn SSL hours!
At this month's TAB meeting, we will have an informative presentation from counselors at EveryMind, a local organization focused on youth mental health. The TAB will hear an overview about signs of distress, and learn strategies to support their own mental well-being as well as friends who might be struggling. They will learn about common youth mental health concerns, signs that someone may be in crisis, and resources available to support themselves and others. The presenters have extensive experience with crisis prevention advocacy, youth mental health first aid, and crisis hotline counseling.
