Lear Tai Chi @Germantown Library. A Chinese martial art and system of calisthenics, consisting of sequences of very slow controlled movements.
Participants will start with a warm-up before the movement exercises and then follow up with a cool down relaxation and meditation. Avoid eating right before class because it is difficult to exercise with a full stomach. Please wear comfortable clothing for stretching and moving. Bring a yoga/ exercise mat water and a towel. Please arrive 5 minutes early. All Tai Chi classes are free and open to the public. The program will take place in the lower level large meeting room.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
