Meet author Zeina Azzam

Poet Zeina Azzam will be leading a hands-on poetry workshop and will share her poems from Some Things Never Leave You. .

Zeina Azzam is a Palestinian American poet, writer, editor and activist who recently served as the Poet Laureate in Alexandria, VA. She will share Some Things Never Leave You, described as poems that “alternately mourn and celebrate the wonders of life,” and lead participants in a hands-on poetry workshop.

Registration required. The workshop will take place in the first-floor meeting room of the Rockville Memorial Library.

Stories to Broaden Understanding is in partnership with Montgomery County Middle Eastern American Advisory Group, Office of Community Partnerships and Baltimore Luxor Alexandria Sister City Committee.
