Join us for picture books readings, author Q&A, and fun crafts!
MCPL is celebrating Arab American Heritage month with two local Montgomery County authors. Carrie Maslen, author of Baking Bread with Jiddo and Karen Leggett Abouraya, author of Zamzam, are visiting the library to celebrate the universal love of grandparents and to share in the special traditions of Arab American food and culture. Carrie and Karen will each read from their most recently published picture books, host a short Q&A, and end with a fun craft to take home and enjoy!
An optional opportunity to purchase signed copies of Carrie & Karen's books will be available after the program.
This program is targeted toward families with children preschool through 3rd grade.
