Learn to blend cultural practices with evidence-based health guidance. Enjoy familiar foods in ways that support chronic disease prevention, healthy weight & overall vitality. Registration recommended

Cultural food traditions are a vital part of identity, community, and heritage. This approach to healthy living combines traditional cuisines with a focus on balanced nutrition and wellness. By blending cultural practices with evidence-based health guidance, individuals can enjoy familiar foods in ways that support chronic disease prevention, healthy weight, and overall vitality—bridging the gap between tradition and modern health goals.

The second half of this presentation will offer Nutrition Jeopardy! Nutrition Jeopardy is an interactive, game-style learning activity that makes nutrition education fun and engaging. Participants test their knowledge in
categories like healthy eating, portion sizes, food groups, and cultural foods. Designed for all ages, the game encourages teamwork, reinforces key nutrition concepts, and promotes healthy habits through friendly competition.

This training is presented by Community Engagement & Consultation Group (CE-CG), a nonprofit dedicated to whole person wellbeing.
