T-Shirt Braiding

Add a little pizzazz to your t-shirts

We will be adding braids to T-shirts to dress them up a bit. Bring a couple T-shirts with you so you can braid collars, sleeves, or edges.

We will be using the fabric of our T-shirts to create braids and add a little pizzazz to them. Bring a couple of your own T-shirts with you so you can braid collars, sleeves, or edges. It helps if the T-shirt is on the larger size to begin with or not tight fitting.  The result will be fun to wear or give as a gift.  No experience necessary, no sewing involved, and it is easy to do.  

Open to adults and teens 15 years and older. 

Refreshments provided. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
