Bad Art Contest

For Tweens & Teens

Win prizes for the worst artistic creations!

Think you're bad at art? Do preschoolers mock your sculptures? Do your still life sketches look more like stick figure messes?

Then this is the event for you!

We provide the materials. You provide the creativity and complete lack of good taste! You'll have an hour to sculpt, paint, assemble, or haphazardly slap together the most hideous "masterpiece" you can put together! Our teen librarian will select the five most unattractive creations and put them on display so that customers may vote for the worst piece of art! Prizes will be awarded to the top (bottom?) three vote-getters!

This program is for ages 11 to 18.
