A lapsit storytime for babies & their caregivers. Developmentally appropriate for little ones from birth to pre-walking babies.

A lapsit storytime for babies & their caregivers. Developmentally appropriate for little ones from birth to pre-walking babies.

Babies will sit in their caregiver’s lap, and caregivers will be active participants in this 20-minute storytime. Babies will enjoy bouncing along with songs and rhymes and bonding with their caregivers. Caregivers will enjoy playing with their babies, picking up early learning tips, and socializing with other caregivers during Stay and Play. The library will provide developmentally appropriate toys.

Please note: This program is for pre-walking babies. Toddlers who love to walk on their own are encouraged to attend our Family Storytimes on Monday morning and Tuesday evening.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
