Science Connections: Colorful Chemistry

Join Science Connections as we use science to make colorful art! Limited to 25 participants. Free tickets required, available in-person 30 minutes before the event.

What makes different colors? How do our eyes see color? Can we use science to make art? The answer to the last question is YES! Join Science Connections to explore colorful chemistry through color changing liquids, separating ink colors, and nature colors. Along the way learn about different molecules and how they interact.

Recommended age: 6 to 10. Limited to 25 participants. Free tickets required, available in-person 30 minutes before the event.  

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
