Double feature: Young Frankenstein and Crazy Rich Asians.
We are celebrating May's Jewish-American and Asian-American Heritage Month with two films. We celebrate Mel Brooks' comedic film Young Frankenstein for Jewish-American Month. This is a parody of the old Frankenstein movie in which Dr. Frankenstein is trying to construct the perfect human, with comic results.
The second film, Crazy Rich Asians, is for the celebration of Asian-American Month. This film is a romantic comedy about a woman meeting her fiancé’s wealthy Asian family in Singapore.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, MD. Snacks will be provided. Please bring your own lunch and drinks.
