Teens & tweens, drop in & celebrate Earth Month with Reptile Smiles! Join us from 4 PM to 5 PM for this SSL opportunity, meet an incredible number of live exotic reptiles, ask questions & have fun learning about their biology, environment, and much more! You will get to pet most of these 18 amazing live reptiles! This program will take place in the large 3rd Floor Meeting Room. It's an exciting adventure for teens & tweens to build their wider understanding of nature, animals, pet care, and empathy toward the natural world, encouraging discovery, research and exploration. Sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, MD, Inc.
This event is presented by Reptile Smiles, a reptile sanctuary and education service established in 2016, traveling within the tri-state area and educating thousands of people every year.
Library Program Attendance is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program.
