Design your own art using polymers during this special Teen Summer Reading Event!
In this exciting multimedium art class we will use the power of chemistry to create art, jewelry, containers and trinkets. From classics, like heating Perler beads and Shrinky Dinks to modern techniques of using silicone molds and liquid Sculpey or epoxy resin, students will create 3-D works of art. In addition to using a variety of commercially made molds, teens will have the opportunity to create and use their own mold.
This workshop is led by Discover STEAM Inc.
For tweens and teens, ages 12 to 17 years.
