Turn old clothes into something new and hear from professionals in the industry.
Join us on this multi-day fashion workshop to begin your journey in the world of fashion. Choose from old clothes (you can also bring your own!) come up with a design and start transforming the old clothes into something new! Throughout the week you will have time to build on your designs while learning new skills and hearing from special guests from the industry.
August 4th: Start your fashion journey, bring your own clothing or choose from what we have and start creating!
August 5th: Learn about self-care in the form of taking care of our skin and make-up. Joining us will be local professional make-up artist Kayla Balkin from Make-up and Skincare by Kayla!
August 6th and 7th: Work days! The clothing and sewing supplies will be available for you to stop by and work on your projects.
August 8th: Hear from Donica from DSPayne Photography and Design to learn about life behind the camera and how you capture people and the work you are creating.
August 9th: Join us to hear from Nicole Abuhamada, a former model and current artist as she shares her experience in the fashion industry.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
