Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection will present an informational program related to electric vehicles at the Germantown Library.
Electric vehicles are quickly becoming a major part of transportation in Montgomery County - in the last year, nearly 1 out of every 4 new vehicle registrations in the County has been electric. In this education session, Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will present on the benefits of plug-in vehicles, how and where to charge electric vehicles, and other information about EV ownership. DEP will share information about local, state, and utility incentives for EVs and EV charging as well as the plans to build EV charging at County buildings and other public spaces.
This program will take place in the lower level meeting room at Germantown Library. All are welcome to attend.
