Practice your reading with Kiwi, a trained and certified therapy dog! Kiwi is bilingual and can understand both English and Spanish language.
Read to a Dog programs provide elementary-aged children with a chance to practice reading aloud and building their confidence during one-on-one reading sessions with a certified therapy dog. Bring your own book or choose one from our collection! You can read a English or Spanish language book, as Kiwi is bilingual and understands both language.
We have a limited number of available time slots. Readers can sign up for a time slot up to 15 mins before the program. Each reader will have ten minutes to read one-on-one with Kiwi.
Sponsored by Pet Partners.
For grades Kindergarten to 5th Grade.
