Athletic? Love sports but not likely to turn pro? Physical therapy and athletic training might be the career for you! Find out!
If you are like most people, you have imagined yourself as a famous athlete, and you probably are talented. The bad news: Qualifying for the Olympics is really hard. And even if you get in, maybe your sport doesn't have mass appeal. Race-walking, for example. The upshot: you might not be able to retire at age 25 on endorsements. Also, the NBA only has 30 teams, with only 15 players each. That's 450 people in total, fewer people than in your high school. So you might not be able to turn pro. I'm sorry.
But enough bad news. The good news is that you can still have a career in sports. You can hang out with athletes One way: be a physical therapist or athletic trainer! The pros get hurt all the time, and you can help them get back on the court or the field, stronger, faster, and better! Best of all you can have a career that you'll love, that you'll be able to do for your whole life.
Join us at this special time to talk to a working physical therapist/sports trainer to find out what you need to do to make this happen! See you there!
And don't forget, you get up to four SSL hours for attending this event!
Snacks and drinks are also included!
