Engineers go through a lot of steps to make something new – they need to design, build, and test their creations. Join Science Connections to test your engineering skills as you design and build a boat with a limited budget and supplies. Next, test your boat for speed and stability! This program is part of the Maryland STEM Festival.

Recommended age: 6 to 10. Limited to 25 participants. Free tickets required, available in-person 30 minutes before the event.  

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
