Want to make new friends and earn SSL hours? Join us for our monthly TAB-Taco Bout It Tuesday meeting. Each month different topics of importance to teens and society at large will be discussed. Help build your critical thinking skills, improve your public speaking, and learn the art of civil debate. TAB-Taco Bout Tuesday participants will also help guide library programs and activities. Earn 2 SSL hours and enjoy tacos. For teens in grades 8-12.
TAB-Taco Bout Tuesday participant will meet the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30. You will earn Student Service Learning (SSL) hours for attending TAB meetings as a registered volunteer TAB member.
How to join and become a registered volunteer:
1. Register for the meeting
2. Print and complete the volunteer application or ask for one at the Olney Library information desk.
3. Have your parent or guardian sign the application and bring it with you to your first TAB meeting
