Join us for the Egg Drop Challenge, where you'll build a structure to protect an egg from dropping at a specific height!

Can you build a structure that'll keep a boiled egg from breaking at a specific height? Join us for the Egg Drop Challenge, where you will have 40 minutes to build the strongest structure you can, then we will drop it to see if the egg stays intact! Learn about gravity and physics while you build! Supplies will be provided. Registration is required. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, MD. Part of MCPL's programming in relation to the 2024 Maryland STEM Festival, a month-long celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics designed to advance STEM and STEAM education for children that takes place every fall.
