Art at the Library: Guatemalan Worry Dolls

Join us for a fun afternoon celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month as we craft Guatemalan worry dolls.

Come to the Olney Library to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! Join us as we learn about Guatemalan worry dolls and craft our own. Then you can whisper your worries away at bedtime to your own doll. This hands-on activity will stimulate your child's creativity and imagination, while helping them develop critical fine motor skills. 

This program is designed for children 6 years old and above. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

All materials will be provided. Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
