Get ready for the solar eclipse with hands-on science and craft activities.
Learn about the Sun and solar eclipses through fun activities, creative crafts, and hands-on experiments with solar viewing instruments. Participants will also receive their own pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses to take home. For children ages 3-12.
Eclipse glasses will be given to participants (1 per customer) of the program at the end of the program, and any remaining glasses will be given out from the library service desk starting at 12 noon until our limited supplies last.
Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
