Join us for an informative introduction to the Commission on Aging and find out about the free resources in Montgomery County.
The Commission on Aging (COA) advises the County Executive, County Council, the Department of Health and Human Services, as well as other County departments on the interests, needs, and problems facing older adults in Montgomery County.
The Commission identifies significant issues where its voice on the needs of seniors can make a difference.
- Find out about volunteer intergenerational programs that need YOU.
- Did you know if you are over 60 and caring for another in your home, you can get up to 40 hours per month of FREE home care for your loved one via a senior Respite Care program if you qualify, for a limited time?
- Where to donate OR get your free durable medical equipment (walkers/wheelchairs/shower chairs etc.)
- Find out about life transition programs, free transportation services for Montgomery County residents 60 and older and so much more!!!
