Join us in commemorating Black History Month by participating in a fun, interactive, think-pair-share reading and discussion activity to learn about the remarkable lives and accomplishments of some less well-known African and African American individuals in the fields of government, science, sports, the arts, medicine and aviation. Recommended for grades 3-8.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
