Storytime just got a lot more glamorous!

Storytime just got a lot more glamorous! Drag Storytime is just what it sounds like! Storytellers using the art of drag to read books to kids in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where everyone can be their authentic selves!

This is a free family event, appropriate for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary age children. Drag Story Hour is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, MD.

Snow date is Sunday, January 28 at 2pm.

Registration is required and opens on Tuesday, January 2nd at 2:00pm.
