Give back to the community in this animal-focused service project.

In this season of giving, lend a hand to the adoptable dogs and cats at the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC). Learn about responsible pet ownership with a visit from a MCASAC staff member and help make simple toys for the dogs and cats to play with.

This is a hands-on activity. All supplies provided. Program is designed for children ages 6 and above.

Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

MCASAC will accept small donations on the day of the program. Please check their Donations page for a list of acceptable items.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
